Louise Neal

Louise Neal departed this life on May 4, 2007. She was a longtime health care worker in the Okmulgee area. She was employed at the Okmulgee Rehabilitation Center. After leaving there she worked as a nurse for several area doctors, also at Okmulgee Memorial Hospital, Okmulgee County Health Department and finally at the Department of Human Service, from which she retired.

She was born Prudes Louise Sivils on July 27, 1937 to Jim Efer Sivils and Mary Aldonia (Brackin) Sivils at Bearden, Oklahoma. She was the 5th of 6 children. On may 14, 1952 she married Alferd B. Neal. They were blessed with two sons, Roger Dale and Jimmie Lee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Leon Sivils, James J. Sivils and Odie Sivils and her sisters, Linnie Marie Sivils and Anna May Rose, her son, Jimmie Lee Neal and her husband, Alferd B. Neal.

She is survived by a son, Roger Neal and wife Jeanie of Okmulgee, a grandson, Jason Neal of Andover, Kansas, a granddaughter, Christina Neal of Okmulgee, five sisters-in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Bearden Cemetery. Friends may visit on Tuesday from 12-8 P.M.
