Helen Newberry

Helen Newberry of Tulsa Oklahoma deceased on November 30, 2006. She 
was born January 4 1934 in Okmulgee to the late William and Zona Mae 
Swicegood. She is survived by her husband William Newberry; by her 
daughter Suzan Wadley and son-in-law David Wadley having her three 
grandson's Jon Wadley, Justin Wadley, and Bryce Wadley and great 
granddaughter Isabel Perkins; by her daughter Janna Cooney having her 
granddaughter Breanna Cooney; and by her son William Newberry Jr. and 
daughter-in-law Nitaya Newberry having her grandson Will Newberry. 
She is also survived by her nephews Johnny Swicegood and Jimmy 
Swicegood and their families, and niece Vicki Swicegood and her 
family. She is also survived by many sister-in-laws and brother-in-
laws Addie Lou Jefferies, Dolly and Archie Fuller, Jequita Martin, 
Dal and Carolyn Newberry, Lum and Carol Newberry, and Carl and Cathy 
Newberry. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, 
grandnieces and grandnephews and great grandnieces and great 
grandnephews. She was a beautician for 35 years taking care of 
hundreds of elderly in many nursing homes. She was an amazing 
gardener, decorator, homemaker and mother. She dearly loved her 
husband, children and grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 4, 2006 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Okmulgee Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Justin Newberry, Will Newberry, Bryce Newberry, William Newberry, Jr., Danny Martin, Phillip Catlett, and Jimmy Fuller. Honorary Casketbearer will be Johnny Swicegood.
