Kenneth Leroy Nissen

Kenneth Leroy Nissen, a resident of Twin Hills, died Monday, January 26, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.  He was born January 15, 1955 in Corvallis, Oregon to the late Patrick and Elizabeth (Low) Nissen.  Kenneth was a supervisor at Fintube Technologies and was a member of Church on the Move in Tulsa.  He enjoyed woodworking, antique cars, playing golf and collected Budweiser memorabilia.  Kenneth is survived by his wife, Patricia (Crenshaw) Nissen, sons, Christopher Porter and wife Shelly of Preston and Nathan Porter and wife Angie of Liberty Morris, three brothers, Jake Nissen, Joe Nissen and Donny Nissen, three sisters, Karen Charlo, Patti Minnerath and Liz Vickers and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 31, 2009 at the Twin Hills Gymnasium with Reverend Timothy Self officiating.  Interment will follow in the Haskell Cemetery.  Casketbearers will be David Thoman, Tom Bearrick, Bill Harvey, Danny Barnett, Eddie Belden, Tyler Cowan, Keith Hymer and Ron Evans.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.   www.mcclendon-winters.com
