Katheryn S. Ormsby

Katheryn S. Ormsby, a resident of Morris, died Sunday, August 26, 2007 at her home. She was 87 years of age. She was born April 27, 1920 in Oxford, Kansas to Edward P. and Myrtle (Dean) Stout. She married Jay H. Ormsby on December 25, 1943 in Chilicothe, Missouri and owned and operated Oklahoma Brake Service until retiring in 1981. Survivors include her daughter, Deana Kay Ostroske of the home and a granddaughter, Rachel White of Morris. Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at the Ft. Gibson National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in care of the funeral home.
