Emma Marie Packwood, 87, longtime Okmulgee resident and a current resident of Okemah, died Wednesday morning, November 28, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. She was born January 5, 1920 in Morris to Bert and Celia Samantha (Seybert) Jordan. She was a beauty operator and had worked in the school cafeteria for many years and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She married J.J. Packwood on May 28, 1992 in Okmulgee. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Tim Mize, five brothers and three sisters. Survivors include her husband of the home, a step-daughter, Jan Johnson and husband Bob of Walters, a daughter in law, Debbie Mize of Okmulgee, grandchildren, Alan and Mandy, Delwayne and Charla, Rebeckah and Jamie and Anna and Brandon, step grandchildren, Diana, Sandy and Jeff, and Bobby and Bellen, great grandchildren, Elijah, Mackinie, Steven, Camarae, Clayton, P.J. and Ranae, step great grandchildren, Sara, Jeffrey and Chelsea and Tony and Jessica, and step great great grandson, Lane. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 3, 2007 at the First Church of the Nazarene with Reverends Marvin Buell and Kenneth Book officiating. Interment will follow in the Westlawn Cemetery of Henryetta. Friends may visit the funeral home from 1-8 P.M. on Sunday.
