Leon Perryman

Leon Perryman, Preston, died Saturday, July 29, 2006 at Highland Park Nursing Home. He was 67 years of age. Mr. Perryman was born May 5, 1939 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Ed and Gladys (Powell) Perryman. He married Reba Joan Hudson on May 27, 1955 in Bristow, Oklahoma. He worked as a machinist at Cobra in Bixby for many years before retiring and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Bob, John and Harry. Survivors include his wife Reba of the home, two daughters, Deborah Kaye On-The-Hill and husband Levi of Twin Hills and Jody Lynn Campbell of Preston, grandchildren, Brian On-The-Hill, Mahayah M. On-The-Hill and Jeremy Campbell, great grandson, Ethan Campbell, two sisters, Joyce Mackey and husband Clifford of Claremore and Wanda Pearce of Sapulpa. A graveside service will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at the Okmulgee Cemetery with Reverend Buddy Powell officiating. Friends may visit the funeral home 12-8 P.M. on Tuesday. Military rites will be conducted by VFW Post 1189 of Okmulgee and VFW Post 539 of Henryetta.
