"Dignity without compromise"


Gayle Edward Presser, age 93, longtime resident of Okmulgee died on Thursday, November 14, 2002 in Henryetta, Oklahoma. He was born May 23, 1909 in Clarksville, Arkansas to Edward E. and Vivian (Burt) Presser.

After serving in the U.S. Navy in World War II, he worked in construction and in the motion picture studios in Los Angeles, California.

His parents, his wife Clara, and five brothers, Howell, Kermit, Burt, Paul and Edward Jr, preceded him in death.

He is survived by a daughter Gayla Campbell of Okmulgee, Stepdaughter Charlene Kirkland of Long Beach, Ca., brothers Robert of Little Elm, Texas, Joseph of Dumas, Texas, William and Harrell of Okmulgee, sisters Juanita Lucas, McAlester, and Kathleen Albig of Okmulgee.

Graveside services will be at 2 pm at the Okmulgee Cemetery with Bro. Everett Parson officiating. Services are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee.
