McCLENDON-WINTERS FUNERAL HOME "Dignity without Compromise"
Martha Jean Queen Martha Jean Queen of Katy, Texas departed this life December 7, 2006 to be
with her Lord and Savior. Martha wife of Michael W. Queen for 38 loving and caring years was born in
Okmulgee, Oklahoma July 26, 1948. Martha enjoyed life to the fullest she had many
activities and hobbies, included porcelain doll making, fishing, ceramics and going to her
husbands Sports Car of American racing activities. Although battling cancer for the last year, she made red hats for the other
cancer patients to help with their depression, with no consideration for her own problems.
She always was thinking of others, even in the last weeks of her life. The Lord blessed
us with a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. Survivors include her husband, Mike, her daughter Jena K. Williams, two
grandsons Christopher and Jonathan of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Son, Paul D. Queen of
Morris, Oklahoma, Sister Nedra Capps of Lindsay, Oklahoma and many other friends and
love ones. Martha was preceded in death by here parents Clint and Betty Russell
Armstrong of Morris, Oklahoma and David Armstrong of Collinsville, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held in Katy, Texas on December 9,2006 and a
committal service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 11, 2006 at the
Morris Cemetery Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of the
