Jackie Faye Randolph, a resident of Beggs,
died Saturday, July 5, 2008 at St. John Medical Center. She was 75 years of age.
Jackie was born May 9, 1933 in Denning, Arkansas to Raymond and Vivian
(Mayfield) Hurt. She was raised in Alix, Arkansas and moved to Tulsa where she
lived for 53 years before moving to Beggs. She was a retired nurses aide and a
member of the First Assembly of God in Beggs. Jackie loved quilting and sewing,
and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death
by her parents, a brother, Johnny Hurt and an infant son, David Allen Randolph.
Survivors include her daughter, Diane Flatt and husband Donald, two sons, Steven
W. Randolph of Dallas and Jerry R. Randolph of Eufaula, four brothers, Lee Roy
Hurt of Des Moines, Iowa, Kenneth Hurt of Charleston, Arkansas, and Irvin Hurt
and Dale Hurt both of Alix, Arkansas, two sisters, JoAnn Sampley of Verdigris,
Oklahoma and Phyllis Bennett of Alix, Arkansas, four grandsons, and two great
grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 10, 2008
at the First Assembly of God Church in Beggs with Reverends Robert Yandell and
Bill Fent officiating and 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 11, 2008 at the Alix Assembly
of God with Reverend Bennie Perryman officiating. Interment will follow in the
Houston Cemetery in Alix. Casketbearers will be Ricky Williams, Kenny Williams,
Kenton Hurt, Kevin Hurt, Shawn Hurt, and Andy Hurt. Honorary Casketbearers will
be Aaron Hurt, Alan Hurt, Joshua Hurt, David Sampley, Fred Sampley and Doug
Sampley. Friends may visit the funeral home from 12-8 P.M. on Wednesday.
