Elam Jewett Raymond

Elam Jewett Raymond, 61, of Beggs, OK passed away at his home on February 8, 2004. Mr. Raymond was born December 16, 1942 in San Francisco, CA to Elam Jewett Raymond III and Imogene Gladys (Reich) Raymond. He graduated from Dewey High School in 1960 then he later graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1963, he went on to study under Dr. Harry Harlow at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. From there he went to the University of Oklahoma Law School and graduated in 1968, he then taught at Highlands University Las Vegas from 1969-1971, Mr. Raymond moved back to Oklahoma and joined the Hesbett Law Firm in 1972 then in 1973 he formed Drummond and Raymond Law Firm both of Which were in Pawhuska, OK in 1975 they formed Drummond, Drummond and Raymond Law Offices in Tulsa, OK and practiced there until present.

His father Elam Jewett Raymond III preceded him in death.

Survivors include three children Carrie Raymond, Joan Raymond and Jack Raymond, Two grandchildren Taylor Cain and Farol Cain, his significant other Francey Bates, his sister and Brother in law Joel and Wade McWilliams, Niece Ashley Young, Nephew Mac McWilliams and a loving Collie Dog Danny

Memorial Services will be Wednesday, February 11, 2004 at 2:00 pm at the Redeemer Covenant Church in Tulsa with the Reverend Bill Clark officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee, OK
