Pauline Reamer
Pauline Reamer, 82, died on Saturday,
September 27, 2008 in Longmont, Colorado. Pauline was the seventh of eight
children, born on August 18, 1926 in Morris, Oklahoma to John and Mary (Lyons)
Harmon. She attended Business College and worked at the glass plant where she
met her husband, Vic. Pauline married Victor Reamer on August 31, 1947 and were
together 37 years until his death in 1984. Together they had two children,
Sharon Reamer of Longmont, Colorado and Rocklyn Reamer of Seattle, Washington.
Pauline quit working to raise her children and enjoyed being a fulltime
stay-at-home mother. She was a longtime Pink Lady at the Okmulgee Memorial
Hospital and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she taught the
three-year-olds in Sunday School for many years. Pauline moved to Longmont,
Colorado in 2000 to be near her daughter but always considered Oklahoma her home
and told everyone she was a "displaced Okie."
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, her husband,
and six of her siblings.
She is survived by her two children, her younger brother,
Carroll Harmon of Seminary, Mississippi, and numerous nieces and nephews.
