Paul Rhoads

Paul Taylor Rhoads 85, died on Wednesday, February 7, 2008 in Tulsa. He was born in Frederick, Oklahoma November 27, 1922 to John Victor and Irene Lee (Wainsott) Rhoads. He attended NYA Technical School. He married Fannie Lucille Janousek on May 8, 1943 in Berkley, California. He was employed as Head Warehouse manager for Oklahoma Refinery Company and retired in November of 1984. His parents, a brother, Bob Rhoads and a sister June Rothwell preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife; Fannie of the home, a son Darryl and wife Karen Rhoads of the home, a brother; Ted and wife Jody Rhoads of Escondido, California, a grandson; Scott Rhoads and wife Donna of Warner, Oklahoma, a granddaughter; Leah Rhoads of Tulsa, Oklahoma, a great grandson Justin Rhoads of Schulter, Oklahoma, a great granddaughter; Heather Rhoads of Schulter, Oklahoma, a great granddaughter Devon Mealer, Warner, Oklahoma, four great grandsons; David and Ashton Mealer, Andrew Mealer, Ryan Masters, Nicolas Potter, and a great great granddaughter, Aubree Mealer.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 9 am at the Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Lawrence Matlock officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, 10-8 pm at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home. Condolences may be made at mcclendon-winters.com.
