George Robbins

George Clayton Robbins, a resident of Tulsa, died Friday evening, April 17, 2009 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa.  He was 51 years of age.  George was born November 8, 1957 in Cushing, Oklahoma to George Aaron and Glenda Rae (Henderson) Robbins.  He grew up in Morris and graduated from Morris High School in 1976.  After graduating, George moved to Tulsa where he began a career as a drug counselor and therapist.  He had a great love for helping his clients. 

He was preceded in death by his sister, Cathy Southwick and a grandmother, Elva Floyd.  Survivors include his mother, Glenda Robbins of Morris, father, George Robbins and wife Bonnie of Pawnee, three sisters, Ramona DeVilbiss and husband Ray, Becky Reilly and husband Bill and Tammy Natwick, all of Morris, a brother, Glenn Robbins and wife Sineaca of Okmulgee, his companion, Mary Rose of Tulsa, a special friend, Steve Bluford of Tulsa and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.  Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at the Harvest Christian Center in Okmulgee with Reverend Paul Ramsey officiating.  Interment will follow in the Tuskegee Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Morris.  Online condolences may be sent at
