Charles Thomas "C.T. Rosson, 82, of Preston, died Friday, July 20, 2007 in Okmulgee. He was born in Okfuskee, OK on October 1, 1924 to Eligh and Bessie (Lane) Rosson. C.T. moved to Arizona in the mid 1940’s and resided there for 30 years before returning to Oklahoma. He was a member of the First Christian Church and enjoyed rodeoing, team roping and dancing. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Daisy Rosson, a sister, Ina Wallace and a brother, Onia Rosson. Survivors include his children, Carolyn Smith and husband Tom of Coolidge, AZ, Doris Brown and husband Dave of Atoka, OK, Chuck Rosson and wife Jeannie of Phoenix, AZ, and Paul Rosson and wife Heidi of Phoenix, AZ, a brother, Arthur Rosson of Stillwater, OK, a sister, Tisha Smith of Farmersville, CA, step-children, Peggy Farmer, Debi Helms and husband Warren, Becki Walthal and husband Jake and Dee Dee Slama and husband John, a special friend Betty Anderson of Okmulgee, thirty grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at the First Christian Church with Minister Charlie Green officiating. Interment will follow in the Okmulgee Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Church Rosson, Paul Rosson, Justin Rosson, Clifford Rosson, Mike Endres and David Endres. The family will receive friends from 5-7 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel.
