Emma Elizabeth Rust

Emma Elizabeth Rust 92, a resident of Okmulgee died in Okmulgee on Sunday, May 18, 2003. She was born in Adkins, Arkansas on March 12, 1911 to John William and Martha Tennessee (Morris) Jones. Mrs. Rust was a Certified Welder and had worked for the Oregon Shipbuilding Corporation during the war. She was a member of the International Brotherhood of Boiler Makers and Iron Shipbuilders and Helpers of America. Emma attended the First Assembly of God church. Her parents, husbands Delbert Terill, and Earl Rust, one son Kenneth Carson, one brother Pete Jones, and four sisters Ches Love, Alma Burner, Alice Smith, and Veneta Jones, preceded her in death.

Survivors include a sister, Ora May Brown of Beggs, two grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, May 21, 2003 at 10 am at the First Assembly of God Church. Gene Love and Henry Brown will officiate. Interment will be in the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1-8 pm.

Pallbearers will be Robert Jewell, Wayne Jewell, Jason Jewell, Earnest Donnelly, Ricky Love, Matt Love, Dustin Goodno, and Kevin Love.
