Janet Sue (Smith) Rutherford

Janet Sue (Smith) Rutherford, 51, of Muskogee, died Friday, November 23, 2007 at Muskogee Regional Medical Center. She was born March 5, 1956 in Pryor, Oklahoma to James Columbus and Mabel Ella (Kelley) Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Argie, Euelss and James Smith and a sister Leona Teague. Survivors include her companion, Robert J. Sanders of the home, a son, Robert Joe (Robbie) Matthews of Checotah, brothers, Lewis D. Smith of Texas, Lloyd Smith and wife Patricia of Checotah, Archie Smith and wife Carolyn of Checotah, Gerry Smith and wife Sandy of Morris and Jerry Smith and wife Connie of Oklahoma City, two grandchildren, Stephanie and Halie Matthews and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel with her brother, Pastor Jerry Smith officiating.
