Wanda (Crawford) Salyer, 75, of Okmulgee passed away at her home on Wednesday, November 16, 2005. She was born on September 21, 1930 in Okmulgee to William Andy and Dorothy (Slankard) Crawford. Mrs. Oglesby was preceded in death by her husbands Arthur Lee Salyer and Bob Oglesby. Others that preceded her in death are her parents William Andy and Dorothy Crawford, a brother Bill Crawford and one step grandchild.

Survivors include her children Ercy McCall and Sharon of Stidam, OK, Donny McCall and Dot of Okmulgee, Loyd Salyer and Kathy of Nuyaka, Barbara Taylor and Ernie of Okmulgee, Kathy Kimzey and Donald of Okmulgee, Betty Wood and Randy of Morris, Rhonda Moore and Jason of Eufaula, OK, Jr. Salyer and Cheryl of Okmulgee, Joey Salyer and Wanda of Sapulpa, Jimmy Salyer and Patty of Okmulgee, Jennifer Owen and Jimmy of Morris, step children; Danny Salyer and Marilyn of Wynette, OK, Patty Weeks and Mike of Sultan Washington. Thirty-Four grandchildren, five step grandchildren, forty-two great grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Brothers and sisters are Andrew and Melva Gene Crawford of Great Bend, KS, Loretta Honeywell Sapulpa, OK, Gene Crawford Shulter, OK, Elnora Boyer and Dave of Bedford, TX, Kay Richardson and Tom Brians of Okmulgee and Sue Howard and Marles of Okmulgee and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 19, 2005 at the Church of Christ in Okmulgee with Dave Longand Jeff Ward officiating. Interment will follow in the Okmulgee Cemetery Under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home. Casketbearers will be the grandsons, William McCall Jr., Craig McCall, Timmy Salyer, Mike Sadler, Joe Cummings, Justin Moore, Robert Salyer and John Ownens. The Honorary Casketbearer is Donald Lee Kimzey who is serving in Iraq.
