Mrs. Betty Scott

          

Mrs. Betty Scott 77, former Okmulgee resident, died in Tulsa on Tuesday, September 25, 2007. She was born on November 6, 1929 in Nurnberg Germany to Hans and Kunigunde Strossner. She met and married Elmer R. Scott, who was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army and returned to the United States with him. He preceded her in death on April 15, 1977. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Okmulgee.

Survivors include three daughters; Heidi and husband Mack Churchill of Bixby, OK, Monica Zeier of Bixby, OK and Lori and Scott Batchelder of Broken Arrow, OK, two grandsons; Ronald Churchill of Bixby and Scott Zeier of Tulsa, and two great grandchildren; Kassie Mae and Ronald Mack Churchill of Bixby, OK.

Funeral Services will be on Thursday, September 27, 2007 at 10 am at the Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Myles Schultz officiating. Interment will be in the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Fred Landgraf, Eldon Jarvis, Glenn Waldroop, Scott Zeier, Ronald Churchill, and Scott Batchelder. Condolences may be made at mcclendon-winters.com
