Harold Eugene Shafer Jr.

Harold Eugene Shafer Jr., 55, died in his home in Okmulgee, Thursday, March 20, 2008. Harold was born on December 8, 1952 in Fowler, California to Harold and Helen (Meek) Shafer Sr. He was a roofer by trade. He enjoyed fishing and had quite a green thumb.

Harold is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth (Edwards) Shafer, of the home, two sons; Harold Eugene Shafer III and David Lee Shafer, two daughters; Tina Crosley, and April Elaine Coffman, his mother, three sisters; Sandy, Connie, and Patsy, and eleven grandchildran. He was preceded in death by his father.

Services will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel in Okmulgee. Interment will follow at the Okmulgee Cemetery. Viewing will be on Monday, March 24, 2008 from 11:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Steve Kahbeah will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Harold Shafer III, David Shafer, Rusty Miller, Jeremy Coffman, Joe Crosley, and Loyd Terry.
