Bruce Conrad Shipley passed away
Saturday, August 23, 2003 at home in Morris,
Oklahoma. Bruce was born February 15, 1935 in Okmulgee. His parents Jim Shipley
and Marie Selheim Shipley Walker preceded him in death. He attended Okmulgee
High School and entered the Military. He is survived by his wife, Shirley
(Bailey) Shipley, sons, Mark Shipley of Jenks, Bill Wade of Morris, and Randy
Wade of Seattle, daughters, Connie Hicks of Sapulpa, Sharolyn Cleveland, Dalene
Everett, and Debbie Wynn, all of Tulsa, two sisters, Mary Lou Taylor of Okmulgee
and Beverly Ogden of Dennison, Texas, a first wife and friend, Wilma Burger,
grandchildren, Andrea Bilby, Kheva Crawford, Aaron Wynn, Carolyn Wynn, Jennifer
Shipley, Zachary Shipley, Kaitlynn Wynn, Brandon Hicks, Courtney Wade, Heather
Shipley, Jeremy Everett, Jessica Everett, Joseph Everett, C.J. Wade, Matt
Schnorrenberg, Doc, and Kalleigh Wade, and great grandchildren, Haley McCray,
Daniel Crawford, Andrew Medico, Braden Roller, and Lindsay Crawford.
A funeral service will be held
2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 27, 2003 at Crosstown Pentecostal Holiness Church
with Reverend John Wesley Berry officiating. Interment will follow in the Morris
Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the VFW Post 1189 of
Okmulgee and VFW Post 539 of Henryetta. The family will receive friends from 5-7
P.M. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction
of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
