Emma J. Simmons, 95, of Beggs passed away Saturday, November 23, 2002 at Fountain View Manor in Henryetta. She was born April 23, 1907 in Boyd, TX to Thomas Gilbert and Ella Harris Brown. Emma married Martin E. Simmons, he precedes her in death. They were married for 63 Years. Peaches was her nickname she worked as a housewife and had done some modeling for Department stores. Mrs. Simmons was a member of the First Baptist Church in Rhome, the Wise County Art Association and First Baptist Church in Okmulgee.
