Elizabeth Kay Smith

Elizabeth "Kay" Smith, 64, died on October 12, 2008 in Mounds, Oklahoma. Kay was born on March 28, 1944 in Okemah, Oklahoma to John Harris and Clois Sue (Long) Cole. On March 19, 1971, she married Henry Smith in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Kay enjoyed crocheting, knitting, embroidery, painting, and going to her grandkids ball games.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Harris, her dad, Ed Cole, and one grandson, Robert Bowen.

Survivors include husband Henry Smith of home. Son Bobby Bowen of Sapulpa, daughter Candy and husband Tony Brown of Okmulgee, son John and wife Faye Bowen of Okmulgee, daughter Angie and husband Chris Carman of Beggs, daughter Debbie and husband Mike Neumann of Mounds. Mother Clois Cole of Beggs, brother Harold and wife Claudia Harris of Okmulgee, sister Millie and husband Ben Zimm of Tulsa, 15 grand children and 10 great grandchildren.

Services will be on Friday, October 17, 2008 at the Greenhill Cemetery Chapel in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, at 2:00 P.M. Reverend Dick Knox will officiate. Visitation will be at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel in Beggs on Thursday, October 16, 2008 from 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
