William Joseph (Bill) Staudt

William Joseph (Bill) Staudt, 46, a lifelong resident of Okmulgee, died in Okmulgee on Monday, May 28, 2007. Bill was born on February 21, 1961 in Okmulgee to Oscar Kasper (OK) and Ruth Genevieve (Bohannon) Staudt. His father preceded him in death.

Bill was a Bench Jeweler with the Staudt Jewelry Store in Okmulgee and had been very active in the Civil Patrol and an avid radio hound. He was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church. Bill married Paula Kay Spangler in Okmulgee on April 13^th, 1985.

Survivors include his wife Paula of the home, two daughters Nancy and husband B.J. Appleton of Okmulgee, Robyn Staudt of Okmulgee a son William Staudt of Okmulgee, his mother Ruth Staudt of Okmulgee one brother Oscar and wife Susan Staudt of Guthrie, OK, three sisters Ruth and husband Steve Chenault of Plano, TX, Elizabeth Staudt of Okmulgee and Helena and husband Larry deal of May, Oklahoma.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 1, 2007 at 10 am at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Okmulgee with Fr. Benjamin Vima officiating. Burial will be in the Okmulgee Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-8 p.m. Thursday at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
