OBITUARY DESK:

Jessie Leona Stiles, 78, longtime resident of Okmulgee passed away Saturday, September 07, 2002 at Leisure Manor Nursing Home in Okmulgee. She was born August 15, 1924 in Newby, OK to Frank Case and Nellie (White) Case. She Married Noble Stiles on February 2, 1942 in Cushing, OK, he preceded her in death March 23, 2001. Mrs. Stiles was a member of Second Baptist Church and the Silvertones Adult Choir.

She was preceded in death by a son Dolan Stiles, her parents Frank and Nellie Case, five sisters May Potts, Lillie Roe, June Burchfield, Ada Case and Ruby Case, Six Brothers Earl, Asa, Forrest, Cecil, Floyd, and Homer Case.

She is survived by one son Tom Stiles and wife Sandy of Fort Gibson, Two daughters Joyce Nichols and husband Vic of Claremore, Nellie Taylor and husband David of Okmulgee, ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 10, 2002 at the Second Baptist Church with the Reverend Jeff Vernon officiating. Interment will follow at the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.

Visitation will be on Monday from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home.
