George Allen Sunny

 George Allen Sunny, 78, died in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Friday, October 10, 2008. George was born on January 29, 1930 to Walter and Ellen (Barnett) Sunny. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He married Marionette (Barnes) on January 14, 1963 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. George was a life long member of the Honeycreek Methodist Church.

George was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Linda White, a brother Eugene, sisters; Peggy, Isabell, Josephine, Joan and Kissy.

He is survived by his wife, Marionette Sunny, daughter, Regina Patrick, two sons; Lloyd Kay, and Doug Kay, grandson, Lonnie White, granddaughter, Stephanie Patrick, three additional grandsons, seven great grandchildren, brother Tom Sunny, two sisters; Mary Sunny, and Betty Woodfield, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at the Crosstown Pentecostal Holiness Church with Reverend John Wesley Berry officiating. Viewing will be on Monday from 1:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee. Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M.
