"Dignity without compromise"


Michael Thomas Swallow 48, died in Parkhill, Oklahoma on Thursday, September 12, 2002. Mike was born in Tulsa on May 25, 1954 to Edward B. and Norman Lou (Bright) Swallow. He was raised in Okmulgee and attended and graduated from Okmulgee High School in 1972. His loves were his family and golf. He worked for the Frisco-Burlington Railroad for 20 years. He was a member of the UTU and the Second Baptist Church in Okmulgee. Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother David Anthony Swallow.

Survivors include his wife Donna of the home, one son Ryan Edward Swallow, two daughters Candice Armentha Swallow and Magen Temperance Swallow of the home, one brother Charles Swallow of Mounds, two sisters Cheryl DeCorte of Tulsa and Debra West of Preston, aunts, uncles and other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be on Monday, September 16, 2002 at 11 AM at the McClendon-Winters Chapel in Okmulgee with Rev. John Wiles and Jim Waller officiating. Burial will be in the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 11 AM until 5 PM.
