Hannah Bell Tatro

Hannah Bell Tatro, longtime Okmulgee resident, died Sunday evening, December 18, 2005 at Tulsa Regional Medical Center in Tulsa. She was 83 years of age. Mrs. Tatro was born August 22, 1922 in Stephenson, Alabama to Ruben and Julia Ann (Laney) Thomas. She married Robert "Bob" Tatro on February 13, 1937. She was a member of Living Way Tabernacle and a loving momma to her kids, grandkids and great grandkids.

Mrs. Taro was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and a sister. Survivors include her children, Katie Turner, Doris Schmidt, Tommy Tatro, Bobby Tatro and Robert Tatro, all of Okmulgee, a sister, Mary Ramsey of Okmulgee, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, December 22, 2005 at the Living Way Tabernacle with Reverends Daniel Schmidt and John Creason officiating. Interment will follow in the Okmulgee Cemetery. Casketbearers will be John, Paul and David Ramsey, Claude Thomas, James Ray Settles, and Robert Tatro, Jr. Friends may visit the funeral home from 12-8 PM on Wed.
