Nero Louis Tecumseh Sr.

Nero Louis Tecumseh Sr. was born May 17, 1943 in Okfuskee County, at home to Wisey (Scott) Tecemseh and Israel Tecumseh. He was first born of ten children, raised in the Twin Hills area. He went to be with the Lord on May 21, 2005 at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa at the age of 62.

Nero attended Seneca Indian School and Sequoyah High School. He was in the Military as a member of the United States Army as an Air Bourne Ranger.

He leaves to mourn his companion of six years Jackie Simpson and nine children: Tammy and husband Anthony Edwards, Nero L Tecumseh Jr., Tasha Tecumseh, Geronimo and wife Mulsie Tecumseh, Carmin Gore, Renee Hausam, Sandra Lee Tecumseh, Starlina and husband Timothy Moncrief and Robert L. Tecumseh.

Wake Services will be Thursday 7:00 PM at Concharty United Indian Methodist.

Funeral Services are 2:00 PM Friday, May 27, 2005 at Concharty United Indian Methodist Church with Reverend Alfred Berryhill and Reverend Scott Harjo officiating interment will follow in the Tecumseh Family Cemetery under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home.

Viewing will be on Thursday from 8:30 AM until 3:15 PM at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee.
