Celeste Thompson

Celeste Thompson, 56, longtime Okmulgee resident, died Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at her Okmulgee home. She was born August 31, 1951 in Okmulgee to David H. Howell, Jr. and Betty Louise (Gibson) Howell. She attended Harvest Community Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Richard David Smith. Survivors include her son, Jason D. Smith of Hominy, a brother, David Howell, III and wife Nancy of Edmond, and several cousins. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2008 from 9-12 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home followed by a committal service at 2:00 P.M. at the Okmulgee Cemetery.
