Jerry Lee Tucker
Jerry Lee Tucker, a lifetime resident of
Nuyaka was born on January 31, 1950 and died April 18, 2008.
He was born to the late Leo Tucker and
Imogene (Allen) Tucker. Jerry had two brothers; Jim Tucker
and wife Mattie of Jal, New Mexico, Herb Tucker of Okmulgee,
two uncles raised in the home; Ned Allen of Nuyaka and Ray
Allen of California.
He Attended school at Nuyaka for twelve
years and graduated in 1968.
He married his high school sweetheart,
Vera Holden, in 1969. They made their home here in Nuyaka.
They had three loving children; Patricia and husband Anthony
Ivins, their children Chelsea and Hayden of Nuyaka, Terry
and wife Lacrista, their children Mark, Julie, Kerry, Ashely,
Rowdy, and Sammy of Nuyaka, Kevin and wife Rayna, their
children D.J., Jacob, Nate, and Ravin of Nuyaka, and one God
child; Jeremy Shaul.
Jerry was a welder at Hughes and Anderson
in Tulsa for 31 years and a rancher and farmer all of his
life. He loved traveling, camping, and being with his
family. He was a member of Nuyaka Baptist Church and the
Nuyaka Riding Club. Jerry loved his community, all his
neighbors and had many friends. He was a father to many
children and loved them all like his own. He was a quiet man
who liked the simple things in life. He will be missed.

Services will be held on Wednesday, April
23, 2008 at 2:30 P.M. at the Nuyaka Baptist Church with
Reverends Chad Eads and Bill Storie officiating. Interment
will follow at the Beggs Cemetery. Viewing will be on
Tuesday, April 22, 2008 from 12:00 until 8:00 P.M. with the
family present for visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
Pallbearers will be Lloyd Salyer, Dickie Melton, J.D.
Chambers, Dwight Thomas, Steve Ennis, and Fred Henderson.
