Lucille Julia Waldroop

Lucille Julia Waldroop 87, a longtime resident of Okmulgee died in Okmulgee on Tuesday, November 13, 2007. She was born in Blackwell, Oklahoma on September 14, 1920 to Billy and Hallie McDonald. She married Jack Waldroop on February 14, 1941 in Okmulgee. Lucille was a member of the Natura Baptist Church. Her parents, a daughter Viola Rose Waldroop, two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.

Survivors include her loving husband Jack of the home, two daughters; Vivian Waldroop and Evelyn Rose and husband Lloyd all of Okmulgee and a son Jack Leon and wife Shirley Ann Waldroop of Henryetta, Ok., five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at the Faith Baptist Church in Okmulgee on Friday, at 2 PM with Rev. Everett Lerch officiating. Burial will be in the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Thursday 12-8 PM. Condolunces may be sent to mcclendon-winters.com
