OBITUARY DESK:

Blanche E. Wallace, 93, of Mannford formerly of the Okmulgee passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2002 at the Cimarron Pointe Care Center in Mannford. Mrs. Wallace was born January 22, 2002 in Rolf, OK to Jess and Janie (Statham) Neely. She moved to Okmulgee in 1926 and lived here until five years ago. Blanche married Glen Wallace February 23, 1927 in Okmulgee he preceded her in death April 20, 1981. Mrs. Wallace loved to sew and go fishing, quilting and working in her garden. Mrs. Wallace was a member of the Crosstown Pentecostal Holiness Church in Okmulgee.

Survivors include

her daughters Mildred Randolph of Mannford and Betty Gainer of Oklahoma City,

four grandchildren,

five great-grandchildren and

six great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by

Her parents,

five Brothers and sisters and

her husband.

Graveside services will be 10:00 am on Friday, December 13, 2002 at the Okmulgee Cemetery with the Reverend Willis Baldridge officiating. Interment will be under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 12, 2002 from 12 noon until 5:00 pm at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel.
