LaDoris Inez Wasson

LaDoris Inez Wasson 86, a longtime resident of Morris died in Okmulgee on Tuesday, June 12, 2007. She was born in Okmulgee County on January 15, 1921 to Y.Z. and Viola LeEtta (Stout) Vaughan. She was married to Clyde Wasson and together they owned and operated the Tastee-Freeze restaurant in Okmulgee for several years. She was a charter member to the Morris United Pentecostal Church . Inez was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde on November 4, 1984 and her parents.

Survivors include one daughter Shirley and husband James Dominy of Bacliff, Texas, a son Billy and wife Joan Wasson of Morris, five grandchildren; Jennifer and husband Nick Burks of Morris, Matt Wasson of Morris, Tiffany Dominy, James Dominy and Melissa Dominy all of Bacliff, Texas, seven great grandchildren; Ryder Burks, Landon dominy, Ashlyn dominy, Kaleigh Crenshaw, Courtney Crenshaw, Carrie Dominy and Brooke Dominy, and one sister, Sylvia Weatherford of of Morris.

Funeral Services will be on Friday, June 15, 2007 at the Morris United Pentecostal Church at 10 AM. Rev. El Roy Martin will officiate. Burial will be in the Morris Cemetery. Visitation will be at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee Thursday, 12-8 PM.
