"Dignity without Compromise"
Juanita Watts, 84, a longtime resident of Hoffman and Morris, and a resident of Okmulgee for the past 6 ½ years, died January 18, 2005 in the Hillcrest Specialty Hospital in Tulsa. She was born April 10, 1920 to Curt Allred and Peggy (Darnell) Harris in Wesley, Oklahoma. She married Berlin M. Watts on May 31, 1940. She was a homemaker and loved to quilt. She attended the Trinity Baptist Church of Morris.
Mrs. Watts was preceded in death by her parents, Curt Allred in 1974 and Peggy (Darnell) Harris in 1979, husband Berlin M. Watts on April 6, 1998, and a son, Dave Watts on October 13, 2004.
Survivors include one son, Lewis Watts and wife Linda of Morris, two daughters, Ada Jones and husband William (Bill) of Okmulgee and Alice Andrews and husband Dwight of Houston, Texas, fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many beloved friends and relative.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, January 21, 2005 at the Morris Cemetery Chapel with Reverend David Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow in the Morris Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
