McCLENDON-WINTERS FUNERAL HOME "Dignity without Compromise"
Laura Beatrice Weirick Laura Beatrice Weirick, longtime
Okmulgee, resident, died Tuesday evening, March 20, 2007 in
Rebold Manor at the age of 95. She was born August 10, 1911
in Forsyth, Missouri to Robert E. and Laura (Marion) Richey.
Laura was known as Mama Bea. She was a homemaker and worked
at the Daylight Donut Shop for many years. She was a member
of the Jehovah Witnesses. She is survived by one son, Lloyd
E. Collins of Bernice, OK; three grandchildren, Larry
Collins of Tulsa, Darel Collins of Okmulgee, Lloyd E. (Eddy)
Collins of Verdigris, four great grandchildren Dustin
Collins, Carrie Collins, Laura Berger, and Spencer Collins
and one great great grandchild Abigail Berger. She was
preceded in death by her parents and one son, Lawrence
Collins, Sr. and nine of her brothers and sisters, Homer
Richey, Otis Richey, Myrtis Johnson, Opal Richey, Leo
Richey, Avo Young, Robert Leon Richey, Pauline Truelove, and
Odel Richey. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm
Saturday, March 24th at the Westlawn Cemetery in
Henryetta, under the direction of McClendon-Winters Funeral
Home. Friends and family may visit the funeral home on
Friday from 12-8 and Saturday 8-12. Condolences may be sent
