Wilma Gean White

Wilma Gean White 73, died in Okmulgee on Saturday, August 23, 2008. She was born in Claremore, Oklahoma on February 25, 1935 to Ezeil and Sallie (Foster) Chalakee. She graduated from school in Haskell and obtained an Associate Degree. She had worked at Bishops Restaurant in Okmulgee as a cook. She was married to David C. White, who preceded her in death on December 10, 1975. She was very involved with the V.F.W. #1189.

Survivors include her brother, Harold Chalakee of Kellyville, Oklahoma and many friends.

A memorial service will be on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at the McClendon-Winters Chapel in Okmulgee at 10 AM. There will be no viewing. Condolences may be made at mcclendon-winters.com.
