John Whitson

John C. Whitson II 56, a resident of Okmulgee died in Tulsa on Sunday, June 7, 2009.  He was born in Okmulgee on January 14, 1953 to John C. and Nola M. (Bell) Whitson.  John worked in road construction. He attended Morris High School.   His father, a sister Sharon Adkins and a son John C. Whitman Jr. preceded him in death.

 

Survivors include his loving mother Nola M. Whitson of Okmulgee, two nephews Kevian White and his wife Charlena and their three children Kellie, Kevan Jr. and Kaeli White and Cory Adkins.

 

Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, June 9, 2009 at 1 pm at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will be in the Okmulgee Cemetery.  Condolences may be made at mcclendon-winters.com.
