Eva Jean Wickham

Eva Jean Wickham, Okmulgee resident, passed away Saturday night, November 29, 2003 at Hillcrest Specialty Hospital in Tulsa. She was 74 years of age. She was born November 5, 1929 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas to Fred and Bertha (Myers) Bowden. She grew up in Ft. Smith and moved to Tulsa where she worked at Petty’s Fine Foods until her retirement. She had resided in the Okmulgee area for the past ten years. Mrs. Wickham had attended the First Baptist Church of Dewar when her health allowed. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ronald Wickham, and two brothers. Survivors include her children, Marty Morris of Ft. Smith, Marsha McCormick of Tulsa, David Ewing of Arizona and Janet Wilson of Van Buren, a brother, Fred Bowden of Palm Springs, California, and eight grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 3, 2003 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Connie Cariker officiating. A graveside service will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 4, 2003 at the Salem Cemetery in Cedarville, Arkansas. Friends may visit the funeral home from 12-8 P.M. Tuesday. Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee, Oklahoma.
