Mr. Bill Williams

Mr. Bill Williams, 78, a lifelong Okmulgee County resident, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2005 at his home in Okmulgee. Mr. Williams was born January 15, 1927 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to the late Bill and Cleo (Masters) Williams. He built and operated the Carriage Inn Motel and Restaurant. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He married the late Margaret (Conley) Williams on August 30, 1943. Mr. Williams was also preceded in death by four siblings.

Survivors include his four daughters, Judy Ruth Warlick, Sherry Warlick and husband Tim, Carol Melton and husband Reed, all of Tulsa and Janet Molet and husband Craig of Okmulgee, ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and two brothers, Dee nd Bob Williams.

Friends may visit the funeral home Wednesday from 12-8 PM.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 Thursday, May 26, 2005 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Charlie Green officiating. Interment will follow in the Okmulgee Cemetery. Casketbearers will be grandsons, Theron Warlick, Tim Warlick, Ethan Warlick, Matt Warlick, Danny Warlick, grandsons-in-law, Richard Bolusky, Jeff Vangagriff, granddaughters, Emily Bolusky, Natalie Molet, Jill Molet, Katie Vandagriff and grandson Tyler Melton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shiner’s Children’s Hospitals in care of the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
