Margaret Ruth Williams, lifelong Okmulgee county resident, passed away Monday morning, September 15, 2003 at her home in Morris. She was 77 years of age. Mrs. Williams was born April 4, 1926 in Okmulgee to the late Benjamin Franklin and Mertle Edith (Parris) Conley. She married Bill Williams on August 30, 1943. She had owned and operated the Carriage Inn Motel and Restaurant. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Okmulgee.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bill Williams, of the home, four daughters, Judy Ruth Warlick, Carol Melton and husband Reed, Sherry Warlick and husband Tim, all of Tulsa, and Jan Molet and husband Craig, of Okmulgee, ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 18, 2003 at the First Christian Church of Okmulgee with Minister Charlie Green officiating. Interment will follow in the Okmulgee Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.

Visitation will be from Noon until 8:00 pm at the Funeral Home Chapel in Okmulgee on Wednesday, September 17, 2003.

Casketbearers will be grandsons; Theron Warlick, Tim Warlick, Ethan Warlick, Matt Warlick, Danny Warlick, grandsons-in-law Richard Bolusky and Jeff Vandagriff.
